Six Flowers (Hibiscus) #2/7

Flowers, symbols of a vast emotional palette and complex layers of meaning, have been an intrinsic part of visual art throughout the centuries. This panel, featuring six semi-synthetic flowers, has its roots in this tradition, with references to artists such as Georgia O'Keeffe and Andy Warhol. Simultaneously, it is oriented towards an uncertain future, where artworks are generated by artificial intelligence, and gene splicing will lead to an ever-growing catalog of new and strange species. 

The neo-classical soundtrack, with references to iconic artists such as Philip Glass and Steve Reich, combines serial, mechanical elements with traditional instrumentation, underlining the characteristic of the panel, bringing together a historical perspective with a view into the future.
