Ghost Orchids #2/7

Ghost orchids are an exceedingly rare breed that only blossom once a year in the dark of the night. Sometimes, the blooming flowers mimic humanoid shapes, radiating with a peculiar iridescence in the darkness, hinting at their semi-synthetic nature.

The Ghost Orchids have been inspired by a haiku written by the American poet LeeAnn Azzopardi: 

On the window pane

The purple orchid blossoms

Despite the gray sky
